Position: Web Graphic Designer
This position will be responsible for assisting the Web Services Manager in developing and maintaining the client's web presence, and ensuring that client’s website supports the mission and internal and external communication objectives while adhering to relevant industry standards and practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Create Web templates and documents for university web developers and content providers. Design, develop, and edit new website features. Prepare and publish FAQ pages, help files, newsletter articles, and other sources of information. Analyze server traffic and web usage statistics, and generate reports on a monthly basis. Maintain regular contact with administration, faculty, and staff in designing and developing websites, pages, and applications. Maintain the desired look and feel of client websites based on established standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Create web site layouts in Adobe Photoshop, Gimp, Fireworks, or other similarly capable software.
• Create banners, icons, headers, and other graphics optimized for use on the web.
• Experience creating/modifying WordPress or other content management platform templates and theme files.
