Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in .NET, C#, ASP.Net, XML, Web Services (WCF) and SQL Server, Transact SQL
- Experience in distributed systems environments
- Biz Talk development and integration experience is highly desirable.
- Application integrations in complex, web-service driven or SOA environments.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
- Experience having functioned as an individual contributor or team member
Responsibilities:
- Ability to engage clients directly to explain software solutions, answer questions on features and/or development processes when needed.
- Contribute to functional and technical design, process, and use case design and reviews; ability to document and read functional and technical specifications.
- Self-management of workload and work assignments within a development team that is responsible for delivering projects/tasks through a software development life cycle, with an eye toward project timelines and utilization.
- Experience evaluating / estimating work effort, controlling scope, identifying risk and resolving conflict Issue and bug fix management.
- Help to define and implement development best practices, standards and processes.
- Thoroughly document development work completed using established team standards.
- Work directly with business development teams during project envisioning/inception to come up with best solution and reasonable accurate time/cost estimates for project
Desired Skills:
- Experience in SharePoint customization
- Solid understanding of the SharePoint Object Model and SharePoint technology stack.
- Experience implementing web-based applications using Websphere Portal and Portlet Factory (Web Experience Factory) interfacing with web services
- Expertise in open source and proprietary tools including JAVA and MS .Net; WebSphere Portal Server and Sharepoint 2010 implementation experience highly preferred
- SharePoint 2007 (and/or later) Technologies and SharePoint Designer 2007
- Experience mentoring or guiding Developers and Testers on a project
- Experience with Enterprise Content Management solutions
- Experience working with software product development companies
- Experience working within the AGILE methodology framework
