The Project Engineering (PE) Coordinator supports the Planner and the Engineer to ensure consistent delivery of Infrastructure Services managed for business investment projects. While the Project Engineer owns the accountability for the delivery of Infrastructure work, coordinator is responsible for performing support functions like resource requests/assignments, submitting and monitoring change controls, Engineer workload management, etc. In addition, coordinator takes on the responsibility of Project Engineer for simple enhancements/projects.
Project Engineering Coordinator (PEC) = Associate (Principal Coordinator)
PEC supports project engineering team with coordination, process management and reporting activities that are essential to the organization.
Key tasks:
- Manage PE workload spreadsheet and resource assignments, including VILs and transition meetings
- Coordinate scheduling and completion of Design Reviews and validate Design Review approvals in Clarity for PE after each review is held
- Manage Project Engineering KL site, including engineering standards/documents in Knowledge Link
- Coordinate with PMA/PDM in scheduling engineer attendance at project assessment/intent definition meetings and update Clarity with estimates
- Coordinate schedule and agenda for IGC meetings, standard definition submission/approval, meeting minutes, action items, and decisions/approvals
- Manage DBCP and Standard definition approvals in Archer
- Manage and report on monthly metrics for project delivery
- Submit C4 as approved via design reviews and quotes received through JSA/ESM
- Submit power, space, and network capacity requests
- Interface with capacity management team in submitting and tracking MP and MSP capacity requests
