Engagement Type: Contract
The ISS is responsible for performing an Independent Verification and Validation review (IV&V) on an IT Contingency Plan. The plan must be compliant with both client and the funding source requirements.
Years of Experience: 5 plus year
Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
Ensure that the final UI IT Contingency Plan includes the 17 points required by client per grant requirements.
Provide thorough IV&V of the final UI IT Contingency Plan with complete documentation.
Complete associated tasks per grant requirements.
Identify and track issues, risks, and action items.
Document information security policies, standards, and procedures as related to the IV&V of the UI IT Contingency Plan.
Document computer security and emergency measures policies, procedures, and tests as related to the UI IT Contingency Plan assessment.
Takes direction in completing tasks from Project Manager.
Complete two table top exercises to obtain lessons learned and incorporate those lessons into the final plan revision.
Optionally complete a third table top exercise if justified by results of the first two table top exercises.
Deliver a fully reviewed UI IT Contingency Plan which is compliant with both client standards and the grant provider's guidelines.
