Short Description:
A Functional architect is a technical Business Analyst and functional expert for gathering and documenting the user requirements for an application. Is also responsible for bringing an understanding of the enterprise/business system to the team.
Complete Description:
The manager is interested in seeing only candidates that possess strong Business Analyst within Application Development environments abilities, but also where communication skills are considered to be outstanding. Ability to communicate clearly to non technical members is essential and required.
Familiarity with Formal OO Methodologies /Rational Unified Process.
Years of Relevant Experience as a Business Analyst: 5 plus years plus experience in the development of test cases and test scenarios.
Minimal Education: 4 year college degree
Role Description:
Ability to generate test cases and test scenarios from business requirements, prototypes and mock-ups.
Ability to interface with technical team, business team and testers to ensure complete coverage of needed test scenarios.
Manual testing experience
Testing of UI Interfaces, business logic and reporting
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Understand supporting/interfacing system applications.
Coordinate and conduct project/test review meetings with Management, Group Team Lead, and Business Units as required.
Communicate clearly the program/application/testing goals, and policies and procedures to the technical team, business team, and end users.
Exposure to developing and designing J2EE applications is desired.
Thorough understanding of UI design and application flow.
Must submit to a criminal background check and finger printing.
Ability to work well within a team and individually with minimal supervision.
Ability to clearly speak and write in English.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work within tight deadlines.
Must have a valid drivers licence and access to a vehicle to travel within the state of NJ to obtain user requirements and participate in status /review meetings. The Judiciary of the State of NJ does not reimburse contractors for travel expenses.
