Candidate is a master level ETL specialist who will work in a lead capacity, responsible for the management of Enterprise-level AbIntio and Teradata environments in support of Basel II implementation. Individual should have in-depth knowledge of backup and performance management, writing and managing scripts run in UNIX environments, full development lifecycle for AbInitio development. Is responsible for the design, development and administration of transactional and analytical data constructs/structures. Will be responsible for data access and delivery technologies. Individual will use expertise in data mining, Extract Transform Load (ETL), design and documentation of data movement schemes, and mapping between applications during project. May be called upon for expertise with logical data model development to support team.
Requirements for this position
• Degree in Computer Science, Business or related discipline
• 5 plus years of Ab Initio experience
• 2 plus years experience in domain
• Leads multiple work-streams in delivering solutions
• Works independently
• Develops advanced domain specific technology solutions and guides their development into a final product
• 5 plus years of Data mapping experience in implementation and design
• 5 plus years of ETL experience in implementation and design
• Ability to communicate strategies and processes around data modeling and architecture to cross functional groups and senior levels
• Demonstrated ability to lead end to end ETL project and team
Preferred experience
• Experience working on a Basel II project
• 5 plus years experience with Financial Services clients
