ERP Project Director :
The ERP Project Director will be part of the client ERP project team and will report to IT Director. The project director responsibilities will include:
· Liaison between client ERP team and the selected ERP vendor.
· Work with the selected vendor to create/execute the project, resource, communication, and training plans.
· Manage the complete implementation of the ERP system using the ERP implementation life cycle.
· Coordinate with the defined the strategic implications and requirements to achieve the successful implementation under the established parameters of cost, schedule, and quality.
· Communicate any project changes, risks, and budget allocation issues immediately to IT Director and ERP steering committee.
· Create reports and presentations about the project status to the ERP steering committee and the client executive leadership team.
· Establish the relationships with the various city departmental managers and constantly work with them to generate the feedback about ERP modules, issues related to legacy IT systems, and use the feedback to deliver the improved services using the ERP system.
· Lead, guide, and mentor the project teams during the implementation phase.
The candidate should have the PMP certification, with five or more years of project management experience with successful implementation of at least ERP system. The experience in successful implementation of ERP system for a state or local government and Implementation of Oracle ERP- E-Business Suite would be a plus. Additionally, the candidate should possess bachelor level degree in computer science, mathematics, business administration or related field
