The candidate will apply knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to the definition, planning and tracking of Chat project activities to meet or exceed customer and stakeholder needs and expectations. The candidate will manage high value IT delivery efforts for the Chat platform that require the coordination of development work or technology work with other platforms.
The candidate is expected to provide process and technical direction to team members, Product owners, stakeholders, and others, which may involve acting as a scrum coach. The candidate is expected to consult on and utilizes latest rapid development or other non-sequential project methodologies. The candidate will serve as subject matter expert on Agile development methods and processes. The candidate will possess most skills of the traditional project manager. The candidate is expected to provide clear concise communication with project team and mid-level management. The candidate will possess the ability to influence or negotiate with other functional areas
Required:
6+ years experience leading complex IT development or IT technology projects
Demonstrated ability with Agile methodologies and the IT development life cycle
Strong written and oral communications
Ability to lead a team to desired outcome
Experienced interacting with both senior leaders as well as peers
Ability to identify and negotiate solutions to address delivery challenges
Comfortable challenging ideas and working with disparate groups to bring about consensus
Able to handle ambiguity in the project without losing focus
Able to perform with minimal direction
Preferred but not required
Demonstrated ability to work on 3-5 efforts concurrently
Experience leading projects using formal project management methodologies
Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, and Project
Significant understanding of technical environment
Nice to have
Demonstrated experience supporting requirements, data and systems analysis, and testing
Experience with Live Chat development using LivePerson
Candidate may reside in Dallas/Plano TX, Northern VA, or New Orleans/S. Louisiana.
