Area of Support:
Provide manual and automated test support for an online customer service application.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for mitigating risk to Capital One’s Online Servicing production platform. This is done by providing the services, skills, and resources necessary to enable and ensure pending modifications are thoroughly tested and are of the highest possible quality.
Capabilities:
The successful candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills. He or she must be able to interact with and influence multiple stakeholders outside the testing organization. The successful candidate will be experienced at deriving trends and analyzing feedback to improve product quality. Duties include: (1) Making valuable contributions to the overall testing strategy; (2) Developing and executing test cases derived from business and system requirements; (3) Communicating and ensuring resolution of non-compliance issues; (4) Preparing written reports of findings from all analysis; and (5) Developing and presenting findings to a range of customers. The successful candidate will also be able to provide staff and management with an objective insight into processes and associated work products.
Additional Competency Details:
The successful candidate must have 5+ years of experience using various industry standard methods to validate web applications. The successful candidate must also be an expert level user of Quality Center version 9.0.
