Master Level ETL Specialist to manage Enterprise-level AbIntio and Teradata environments. Candidate should have in-depth knowledge of backup and performance management, writing and managing scripts run in UNIX
environments, full development lifecycle for AbInitio development, etc.
Candidate should have a strong understanding of relational database concepts and design of new systems (OLTP & OLAP). Includes expertise in data mining, Extract Transform Load (ETL), design and documentation of data movement schemes, and mapping between applications. Leads multiple work-streams in delivering solutions. Works independently.
Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels .Candidate must have strong work ethic and teamwork capabilities.
The environment needs the candidate to have an understanding and experience in Teradata development and Unix scripting. A bachelor's degree or above in MIS, Computer Science or related field and Teradata certification is highly preferred.
Madatory Skill Set:
-Experience with ABInitio with Oracle and Teradata.
-Experience in V2R5.1 or higher
-AbInitio Data Lineage/Dependency experience.
-Good understanding of logical modeling concepts
-Experience with performance tuning implementations involving secondary indexes, join indexes, partitioned primary indexes, etc
-In depth knowledge of Teradata Utilities such as MultiLoad, FastExport, FastLoad, TPump, and BTEQ
-UNIX Shell Scripts
Desired Skills:
-AbInitio with XML experience would be a strong plus. |
