Minimum/General Experience: This position requires a minimum of five years experience, of which at least three years must be specialized. Specialized experience includes: knowledge of PC operating systems, e.g., DOS, Windows, as well as networking and mail standards and work on a help desk. General experience includes information systems development and other work in the client/ server field, or related fields. Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing and a positive customer service attitude.
Functional Responsibility: Provides phone and in-person support to users in the areas of e-mail, directories, standard Windows desktop applications, and applications developed under this contract or predecessors. Serves as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/ software PC and printer problems.
Minimum Education: An Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline is required.
- With a Bachelor’s Degree (in the fields described above); three years general experience of which at least one year must be specialized experience is required.
- With five years general experience, of which at least three years is specialized, a degree is not required
