Minimum/General Experience: Significant experience in functions such as Data Models and Designing Databases, Database Administration, Performance Training, and at least two years experience in all phases of system analysis, database administration, or five years of intensive and progressive experience in all phases of systems analysis, design and development. Three years experience as a database administrator for proprietary product RDBMS, such as ORACLE. Must have experience as Database Administrator with the latest commonly used version of the relevant RDBMS.
Functional Responsibility: Creates and manages the database. Performs exceptionally complex database administration functions which include, but is not limited to, managing/ maintaining distributed relational databases residing in a central system.
Minimum Education: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Science, Information Systems, Management Sciences, Computer Science, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
- With a Master’s Degree (in the fields described above): two years general experience of which at least one year must be specialized experience is required.
- With seven years general experience, of which at least five years are specialized, a degree is not required
